additions.
Two of the latest additions to my own sunglass collection. The Tom Ford Campbell in tortoise shell and the Anne et Valentin (more on them later) Solo in tortoise shell and nude pink. And while I don't really need to wear glasses, all the amazing new optical stock coming into work from Anne et Valentin is making me want to.

Not only is actor James Franco immensely talented (and not bad looking), he has some nice eyewear taste. I love this polaroid of James from the Band of Outsiders look book wearing a pair of vintage Ray Ban's.

whiteout & glare.
Classic shapes, made with beautiful acetate and titananium, Whiteout & Glare's new optical collection is worth looking into. Hailing from Germany, the label is all about pure craftsman ship and purpose built materials. Hard wearing and timeless, Whiteout & Glare has been picked up by Australian wholesaler Luxol, so expect to see it around soon.

an introduction.
My name is Alice and I like eyewear. I stumbled into the area when I worked at my good friends parents optometrist throughout my university degree. An independent practice, the product we stocked was a large mix of designer, sports, boutique and hard to find eyewear. Being a sales assistant, I got to know the stock, the wholesalers, what sells and what definitely doesn't.
I now assist with the marketing and buying at that same Sydney practice, and as such am feeding my growing eyewear collection (and addiction). This blog will be a place to explore new brands and collections, inspiration and editorial, collaborations and destinations. I hope to soon have some eyewear specific street style shots on here and interviews with industry movers and shakers.
